In this role, you will be a part of the IT Operations EMEA / APAC team and report directly to the IT Team Lead.

 

What can you expect as an IT Support Coordinator at Scandinavian Tobacco Group?
As an IT Support at Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG), you will be responsible for providing technical support and dealing with the system administration. This means you would work on providing service-oriented support to users and colleagues worldwide, with a particular focus on executing independent tasks effectively. You are flexible to travel to other various offices in the UK office, France, and/or Germany (not frequently).

Your primary tasks will include the following:
•    Provide technical support to users globally, utilizing Service Hub (TOPdesk), troubleshooting problems, and maintaining Endpoints focusing on Active Directory, Azure, and Exchange Office 365 with VPN (Zscaler).
•    Provide answers to users by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding users/colleagues through corrective steps
•    Improve knowledge resources by creating and maintaining documentation, contributing to the development of training programs
•    Accommodate users’ disabilities by recommending devices and techniques
•    Monitor compliance with service agreements to avoid legal challenges
•    Identify system performance issues and recommend changes for improvement
•    Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining professional networks
•    Accomplishe information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed

 

Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role): 
•    Preferably a Bachelor's degree in the areas of IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant
•    Prior experience in information technology 
•    Familiarity with Local Area Network (LAN) concepts and practices
•    Proficiency in operating systems (Windows 10/11, MAC, IOS, etc.) and phone systems (Apple / Android)
•    Proficiency in Active Directory, Office 365
•    Knowledge in enrolling scanners for SAP production purposes
•    Self-starter with the ability to work independently
•    Thrives in a collaborative team-oriented environment 
•    Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English

 

An advantage would be:
•    Fundamental understanding of Azure
•    Proficiency in Italian, Dutch, French, or German
