Financial Planning Analyst

Implement and facilitate a world class function
As STG is consolidating as a global and publicly listed organization the requirements for change is increasing, and so is the focus on financial planning and reporting in the Group. As Financial Planning Analyst you will be developing and implementing an impactful global financial planning process, including a multi-year outlook model and management reporting, all in close collaboration with our finance business partners, financial controllers and finance information specialist.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Process owner for financial planning processes, including improvements and further development (budget, forecasts, outlook)
  • Co-develop forecast KPI reporting per division and group
  • Ensuring cost allocation across a multi company organization
  • Co-development of IT tools for forecast processes
  • Improving forecast accuracy
  • Ensure strong alignment between Sales & Operations planning function, as well as Finance Business Partners
  • Develop presentations for Executive Board and Board of Directors
  • Project Member on various finance projects (global and local)

The Financial Planning Analyst will be a part of our Global Financial Processes, Reporting & Analysis function, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, Morten Guldager and working out of our head office in Søborg.

What is needed to succeed?
You have a solid financial theoretical background, e.g. a master degree in accounting, auditing or finance, and at least 3-5 years of working experience in an international environment. You have demonstrated success in developing and driving forecast processes (e.g. with Beyond Budgeting), based on high business acumen and analytical thinking. Your economic toolbox is obviously top-class, with superior capabilities in managing large quantities of data and financial information, and you have strong IT competencies (ERP and MS365), and consolidation and planning tools (preferably Cognos Controller understanding. Furthermore, you are a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, both across organizations and cultures, and you possess the diplomatic skills to explain, confront and support in a constructively manner. Finally, it is expected that you are fluent in English.
