The Role

 

We are seeking a Tobacco Processing and Storage Supervisor for our Latin America team in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, who is responsible for directing short wrapper processing operations and ensuring the operational operation of the tobacco warehouse. Who will report directly to our Head of Leaf Processing DR.

 

What to expect from a Tobacco Storage and Processing Supervisor?

 

•    Plan the production of the mince processing areas.
•    Supply factories that have stinging requirements.
•    Provide support in the physical inventories of the different warehouses. •     Coordinate the reception of containers from different suppliers, both local and international.
•    Coordinate the organization of the bales in the tobacco stores in their respective place and placement of identification labels.
•    Coordinate and monitor the preparation of cigars and their international and national shipments.
•    Coordinate the receipt and dispatch of tobacco from the different organizations.

•    Perform different types of tobacco samples as required.
•    Ensure that work areas are clean, organized and without any security risk.
•    Make attendance report. •    Supervise tobacco store staff.
•    Apply and monitor the LEAN methodology and tools.


Knowledge and experience important for this role:

 

•    Professional - Industrial Engineer.
•    Preferably work experience of at least one year in the tobacco industry and supervision of personnel.
•    Computer knowledge MS Office. •    Intermediate or advanced english
•    Skills to lead and deal with people.
