Summary:
We are looking for a Supply Expeditor to join our team in Santiago to work closely with the supply planners for all vendor open orders. You will report directly to Supply Planning Manager.
What can you expect in as a Supply Expeditor at Scandinavian Tobacco Group?
- Key areas of responsibility include sku and purchase order monitoring and maintenance, vendor acknowledgement/follow up. Once the PO is issued to the vendor, the expeditor takes active role in monitoring and maintenance of the PO information.
- Effective communication with vendors and tracking of follow up progress on a daily, weekly, monthly cadence.
- Maintaining agreed upon purchase order arrival dates/quantities of all skus as they relate to in stock needs as well as update ETA data as inbound invoices post from vendors.
- Support to the warehouse/receiving teams for inbound goods for open purchase orders, discrepancies, and resolution.
- Monitor vendors in-stock %, backorder levels, item status, open orders and seek areas for improvement.
- Support SKU data integrity in the inventory & planning system and carry out directed tasks daily, weekly, monthly that maintain system accuracy.
- Provide support to the Receiving and Finance teams to resolve any order discrepancies found in incoming shipments with vendors.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role):
- English proficiency in verbal and written required for interdepartmental and vendor communication.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, focus on Excel, ability to learn online planning system and inventory program. Working knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
- Excellent written skills with the ability to communicate effectively throughout the organization.
- Demonstrates strong skill set at root cause analysis, problem resolution, audit, and reconciliation ability.
- Capable of taking initiative of tasks, work well with multiple deadlines and departments while prioritizing workflow/capacity needs.
- Capacity to build relationships, foster positive team partnerships throughout the internal chain.
