Production Scheduling Coordinator DR

ABOUT THE ROLE
An administrative position primarily responsible for coordinating the scheduling of cigar production, boxes, cellophane, and packaging materials. Furthermore, this role guarantees the successful implementation of production plans by maintaining ongoing monitoring and promptly addressing any issues that arise.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

•    Prepare the weekly cigar production schedule with a planning horizon of 2 fixed weeks + 5 rolling weeks for the HMC and MRC flavors areas.
•    Lead weekly meetings with the Tobacco department to determine short-term needs and a 3-month forecast.
•    Prepare the weekly cigar packaging schedule with a 6-week horizon for the HMC and MRC flavors areas.
•    Review cellophane and box requirements and schedule production for the next two weeks.
•    Generate a weekly report measuring production performance against the plan (Schedule Adherence).
•    Provide continuous follow-up on order execution, from release by Supply Planning to final shipment.
•    Manage and efficiently utilize factory resources, considering capacity constraints, and report any delivery delays resulting from these limitations.
•    Collaborate with various departments to resolve unexpected production issues.
•    Prepare various reports as requested by Management.
•    Perform other related tasks as required by the position and/or immediate supervisor.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL BE REQUIRED?
•    Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
•    Proficiency in MS Office.
•    Fluency in English.
•    Advanced or specialized studies (Master’s degree) in Planning, Logistics, or related areas (preferred).
•    Minimum of two years of experience in production planning or related roles.
