About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Jr. Demand Planner to join our Demand Planning team. This is an administrative role whose main responsibility is partnering in the demand planning process in close cooperation with business representatives (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, & Customer Service) to optimize service level objectives. Objectives are achieved through the refinement of monthly and weekly forecasts. Intelligence is secured through various reporting systems and communication linkage between the functional areas.

 

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Set up demand planning strategy ensuring the use of adequate planning methods and optimal alignment with business functions.
  • Coordinate the forecast process in close collaboration with commercial organizations to provide the most accurate demand plan.
  • Generate and review monthly forecasts; measure, track, and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Coordinate and update segmentation for demand planning aligned with supply side segmentation.
  • Manage Phase-In (new products) / Phase-Out (discontinued or slow-moving items) to prevent obsolescence.
  • Contribute to the S&OP process with demand planning results.
  • Develop and document standard planning processes aligned with global practices.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of forecasting technologies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL BE REQUIRED?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, or Finance.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Demand Planning/Supply Chain functions.
  • Experience working with Sales and Customer Service (preferred).
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, forecasting tools).
  • Proficient in data management and analysis (SQL, Business Objects, Microsoft Access).
  • Willingness to pursue APICS certification.
  • APICS certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce and Retail is a plus.
