We have an incredible opportunity for a Planning Assistant to join our Demand Planning Team. As a Planning Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the planning department in its daily activities by generating and managing reports and analyzing data to support business objectives.

 

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

 

  • Generate and manage reports by analyzing data and making recommendations and/or providing an assessment based on the analysis.
  • Support the planning team in their activities (daily, weekly and monthly reports).
  • Assist in the development of presentations.
  • Communicate production status to the demand planning team and/or commercial team on a regular basis.
  • Analyze pending orders, current orders and upcoming orders to prioritize the production team based on current risk.
  • Build and maintain the NPI file consolidating data from the commercial team.
  • Perform other duties related to the position and/or as required by your supervisor.

 

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL BE REQUIRED?

 

  • Graduated in Industrial Engineering or similar careers.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, using software such as Microsoft Dynamics AX, Oracle, Advanced Planning systems.
  • Advanced English.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in demand planning or related functions in a supply chain environment (preferred) and product manufacturing.
  • Willingness to obtain APICS certification.
