Role Overview
The Head of Finance and Accounting will lead and oversee all financial activities, ensuring robust accounting processes, compliance with global and local financial regulations, and effective financial planning and analysis. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities to drive financial optimization and provide critical insights to guide business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Finance and Accounting teams, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support organizational objectives and growth plans.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, international accounting standards, and company policies.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budget analyses to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the integrity of financial data, internal controls, and audit processes, liaising with internal and external auditors.
- Drive initiatives to enhance financial systems, automate processes, and implement best practices.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to finance team members, fostering professional development and skill advancement.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in financial leadership roles, ideally within international organizations or multinational corporations.
- Deep knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and corporate finance principles.
- Excellent analytical abilities with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading diverse teams and working with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with SAP or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
