Key Account Manager - Norway

JOB TITLE – Key Account Manager 

 

LOCATION - Oslo, Norway

 

HOURS - 40 Hours

 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

We have an incredible opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join the team to support establishing the STG Norway operations and all client relations. As a Key Account Manager you will be responsible for cultivating client relationships, implementing strategic sales plans, and contributing to the global impact of our industry-leading organization.

 

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

· Co-facilitating the establishment of STG footprint in Norway and representing the Company vis a vis local regulation and in legal framework (act as a company manager)

· Represent STG in the local industry associations

· Oversee and cultivate the distribution channel

· Account Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key national retail accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all business-related matters.

· Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets and objectives within assigned accounts.

· Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and adaptation.

· Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms and agreements with retail partners, including pricing, promotions, and product placement, to drive sales and increase market share.

· Forecasting and Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to develop accurate sales forecasts and inventory plans, ensuring optimal product availability and distribution.

· New Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand distribution and penetration within existing accounts, as well as target new business prospects.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, commercial excellence, finance, operations, and other internal stakeholders to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of initiatives.

· Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards governing the sale and marketing of tobacco products.

 

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL BE REQUIRED?

· Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.

· Minimum of 5 years of previous national key account management experience.

· Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.

· Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.

· Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, BI tools and CRM software.

· Knowledge of tobacco market and regulations is a plus.

· Native in Norwegian
