Role summary:

As an SAP R2R Functional Architect Architect at Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG), you will be responsible for the configuration and implementation of the SAP Finance and Accounting modules (FI, CO, AA, etc.). You will analyze requirements, set up organizational structures, master data, and processes for general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, asset accounting, and management accounting. You’d also customize finance integrations with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, etc.), develop custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements, as well as perform testing, troubleshooting, and support.

Location: We are open to hire both in Portugal or Spain
Working hours: Full-time

Contract type: Direct employment

What can you expect as an SAP R2R Functional Architect Architect at Scandinavian Tobacco Group? Your primary tasks will be:

Accountable for managing the technical and functional landscape under finance and leasing, including technical and functional integration and full end-to-end process coverage in a multi-country solution.
Closely collaborating with all other SAP functions and non-ERP domains to provide high-value solutions related to audit, tax, and compliance requirements
Responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the development of the SAP roadmap for all demands under finance
Active management of demand to provide insightful feedback on project requests relating to priority, alternatives, and expectations.
Supporting deployments (scoping, design, localisation, testing, Go Live, transition to operation team)

Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role):

Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 8-10 years of SAP FICA/FICO experience with strong problem-solving skills. Multiple full life cycle solution deployment in vital positions for finance
Proven experience in implementing the finance module and the sub-components (AP, AR, GL, FA, Treasury, Leasing) and SAP Controlling (Cost Centre/Profit Centre Accounting, Management Accounting Reports, …)
Strong understanding of SAP integration points with other modules and overall End-to-end business processes
Integration knowledge with non-SAP applications is an added advantage.
Technical understanding of SAPs finance data model and structure
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
