Lean Manager

We are looking for an experienced Lean Manager to lead our Lean transformation efforts across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the implementation and scaling of Lean initiatives across various facilities in Belgium.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive process optimization, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Utilize Lean tools (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban) to identify and eliminate inefficiencies in production, logistics, and other business processes.
  • Facilitate training and coaching sessions to empower employees at all levels with Lean methodologies.
  • Lead Kaizen events, workshops, and process improvement projects to promote a Lean culture across teams.
  • Develop and track KPIs to assess the impact of Lean initiatives, ensuring that targets for productivity, quality, and cost reduction are met.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to Lean practitioners and cross-functional teams
  • Ensure alignment with organizational goals, integrating Lean initiatives into the overall business strategy.
  • Report progress on Lean projects to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and continuous improvement opportunities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Significant experience (5+ years) in Lean management and process improvement in manufacturing, ideally in a multi-location
  • Strong proficiency in Lean tools and methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen Events.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt, Master Black Belt) is required.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, and influence stakeholders across different cultures and regions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage teams at all levels, from shop floor to senior management.
  • Fluent in Dutch and  English
