The role as Thought Leader Performance, Reward & Recognition

 

Embracing a performance culture is a must win battle for Scandinavian Tobacco Group and being an attractive employer is an enabler for us to be successful with the corporate strategy, Rolling Towards 2025. Thus the Performance, Rewards and Recognition (PRR) agenda is essential for STG. To drive this agenda we are looking for a team member who can make a difference and really drive it all the way to success.

 

As the thought leader and a member of the global HR leadership team, reporting to our CHRO, you will lift the PRR agenda from the level we see today to new hights. You frame the story of how our total reward philosophy is an essential part of the employee experience and connects to the overall business culture and performance - i.e  from concept and design, over planning of execution to communication. And you work with your HR colleagues around the globe involving, co-creating, presenting and onboarding them on the global PRR agenda.

 

Your two most important stakeholders are the business leaders and your colleagues in the HR leadership team. The business leaders need to understand the need for reward and recognition to drive performance and experience and your colleagues in the HR leadership team are your close allies, ensuring that the agenda is moving forward as planned.

 

As part of the global scope, you are also a member of the US benefit committee and a secretary to the Remuneration Committee.

 

What we’re looking for

 

  • You have experience with building a strategic reward and recognition agenda having the business perspective and employee experience top of mind. This includes, among other things, job evaluation methodology, incentive structures, benefits and global mobility.

 

  • Business acumen, financial understanding and the ability to connect the agenda with the overall strategy is essential and you will have a proven track record having done so already in an international and truly global company.

 

  • Communication and storytelling skills are essential. You need to be able to communicate the overall reward philosophy and compensation details to a broad range of stakeholders including Board of Directors, Executive Management, senior leaders and employees.

 

  • We are a team – and teams stand up for each other. In the HR leadership team we are involving each other, spar with each other and help each other. You are a true team player, knowing that you are the expert within your area you understand the importance of having your leadership peers behind you.

 

  • You know that influencing is the way to success why stakeholder management is essential in this role.

 

  • As we are an international company you need to be fluent in English, written and spoken, as this is our corporate language. And your power point, excel and analytical skills must be extraordinary.

You will be part of our Group HR team having your desk in Gentofte, where we have our headquarter.  that consists of dedicated, highly skilled and great colleagues. You will have a desk in the Headquarters working closely with your colleagues and our CHRO.

 

Our HR community is a truly global team, highly skilled, dedicated and great colleagues around the globe from Indonesia and Sri Lanka, over several locations in Europe to the US, Honduras, Nicaragua and The Dominican Republic.
