Technical Integrated Planning Architect

Summary:
As the Technical Integrated Planning Architect, you will take a leading role in revolutionizing integrated planning processes at STG. You will be a part of the IT Strategy and Innovation Department and report directly to the CTO & Head of IT Strategy and Innovation.

 

What can you expect as a Technical Integrated Planning Architect at Scandinavian Tobacco Group?

Your mission is to design and implement innovative, technology-driven solutions that ensure seamless data flow and optimize the end-to-end planning lifecycle. With a strong understanding of SAP and other planning solutions, you will work to establish a strategic vision that aligns with business needs and offers sustainable, efficient planning practices. You will also play a pivotal role in engaging with the business and taking charge of the APS platform.

 

Your primary tasks will include the following:
•    Architect robust, scalable systems supporting end-to-end integrated planning across platforms, addressing business concerns with technical blueprints
•    Evaluate and integrate planning technologies, ERP systems, and tools for an efficient planning ecosystem, optimizing performance continuously
•    Design data integration strategies for smooth information flow across platforms, including Meetis, ensuring data consistency and integrity
•    Lead data transformation efforts for enhanced accuracy and consistency throughout the planning lifecycle
•    Spearhead automation of planning tasks, reducing manual effort and introducing intelligent solutions for accurate forecasting
•    Provide high-level technical support for integrated planning systems, ensuring seamless implementation and ownership of the APS platform
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges efficiently
•    Engage with stakeholders, presenting efficient system improvements, and aligning strategies with business goals
•    Conduct training and promote knowledge transfer to maximize the utilization of technical solutions among stakeholders and the team

 

Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role): 
•    Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 
•    At least 8+ years of experience in an architect role, particularly within planning solutions and SAP systems
•    Experience with advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence in the context of planning
•    Expertise in data transformation and integration across various platforms, including the integration layer called Meetis
•    Previous experience working with O9, SAP, IPD, and any of the planning tools
•    Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges
•    Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

•    Availability for travel, including periods of 2-3 weeks consecutively for 1-2 times per year as well as occasionally a couple of days trips to our locations in Denmark, Dominican Republic, Belgium, and Netherlands

 

An advantage would be:
•    Certifications in relevant planning technologies (e.g., Kinaxis, O9, SAP IBP, Oracle SCM Cloud)

•    Proficiency in Dutch
