Job Title: Student Assistant – Consumer Insights

Location: Copenhagen 

Summary of the role

The Student Assistant supports the Consumer Insights team in delivering high‑quality consumer and market research that informs strategic and commercial decisions in a highly regulated category. The role provides hands‑on exposure to research design, data analysis, and insight synthesis while ensuring strong data quality, documentation, and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the set‑up and execution of quantitative and qualitative research projects (surveys, interviews, focus groups).
  • Assist with data cleaning, validation, and basic analysis (Excel, SPSS, R or similar).
  • Prepare charts and draft slides for internal insight presentations.
  • Help maintain Research Library and documentation to ensure knowledge re‑use.
  • Support qualitative work by organising logistics, taking notes, and summarising themes.
  • Conduct desk research on consumer trends and competitors.
  • Support internal meetings and workshops with preparation of materials and summaries.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
    • Marketing, Psychology, Business, Economics, Statistics, or similar.
  • Basic understanding of consumer research concepts (from coursework or projects).
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; interest in analytical tools is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.

Personal attributes

  • Curious about consumer behaviour and decision‑making.
  • Detail‑oriented and structured.
  • Comfortable working with data and numbers.
  • Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn.

Nice to have

  • Experience with survey tools (SurveyMonkey).
  • Exposure to SPSS, R, Power BI.
  • Interest in or basic experience with AI tools for analysis, summarisation, or research support.
  • Previous student job or internship involving analysis or research.
