JOB TITLE - Senior Manager  People Development

LOCATION - Copenhagen (HQ)

HOURS – Full time

 

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager of People Development to join our new establish team. As the Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in executing our people development strategies, fostering employee growth, and driving a performance culture across Scandinavian Tobacco Group. This role requires someone who can learn fast, build strong relationships with the business, and go above and beyond to deliver results. You will be reporting to the People Development Director and be an integral part of the Global HR team.

 

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Executing and implementing the comprehensive people development strategy aligned with our business objectives
  • Hands-on management of learning and development programs to grow capabilities and talents
  • Driving talent management and performance initiatives
  • Building strong relationships with business leaders to understand their needs and deliver targeted solutions
  • Supporting leadership development initiatives to build a strong pipeline of future leaders
  • Actively participating in post-merger integration efforts to onboard new businesses into STG
  • Implementing and managing performance management processes that foster employee growth
  • Designing and conducting employee lifecycle surveys to gather insights at key touchpoints
  • Developing and implementing engagement strategies based on survey results and best practices
  • Managing the full cycle of employee experience, from onboarding to exit, ensuring a positive journey throughout
  • Contributing to employee engagement, culture, and employee experience initiatives
  • Supporting succession planning efforts across the organization
  • Establishing and tracking metrics to measure the impact and ROI of development programs
  • Staying current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development
  • Demonstrating willingness to tackle challenges and find solutions, even when faced with obstacles

 

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL BE REQUIRED?

  • 5-7 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or related fields
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing people development initiatives
  • Experience from a combined office and manufacturing environments is a plus
  • Strong understanding of talent management, performance management, and employee engagement principles
  • Expertise in designing and analyzing employee lifecycle surveys and engagement programs
  • Experience in managing full cycle employee experience initiatives
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to quickly connect with business leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
  • Results-oriented with a hands-on approach to execution
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional projects
  • Resilience and willingness to go above and beyond to achieve goals
  • Relevant Master degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field
  • International experience or exposure to global organizations is preferred
