Summary:
As an SAP Basis Lead at Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG), you will be responsible for managing SAP Basis tasks with a focus on optimizing the technical infrastructure for the company. You will be a part of the IT Strategy and Innovation Department and report directly to the CTO & Head of IT Strategy and Innovation.
What can you expect as an SAP Basis Lead at Scandinavian Tobacco Group?
You can expect a dynamic role where you'll be responsible for defining and optimizing the technical infrastructure for SAP systems within the STG landscape. Your role will involve defining the SAP system landscape, formulating the SAP Environment strategy, and overseeing critical processes. The position will also oversee the management of all areas of SAP Basis.
Your primary tasks will include the following:
• Define and optimize the technical infrastructure for SAP systems within the STG landscape.
• Develop and document the SAP Environment strategy, encompassing client strategy, transport management, and assessment of SAP sizing.
• Facilitate seamless collaboration among different teams by ensuring effective communication and coordination to meet project objectives
• Provide support to operational activities and ensuring efficiency and alignment with project goals
• Collaborate with teams to streamline processes and contribute to the overall success of OneProcess initiatives
• Implement monitoring systems to track project progress, promptly identify issues
• Apply database administration knowledge to assess and enhance database performance
• Interact with various teams during system build and implementation phases
Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role):
• Bachelor's degree in the areas of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study required
• Proven leadership experience in which SAP Basis, landscape, and SAP infrastructure were part of key responsibilities
• At least 7+ years of experience in SAP technical environment, SAP Basis
• Hands-on experience in S/4HANA project implementations
• Solid foundational knowledge in server, networking, security, and storage disciplines preferred
• Stakeholder management skills to be able to engage, influence, and build positive relationships with various stakeholders
• Strong project management skills
• Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and process enhancements
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.
An advantage would be:
• SAP S/4HANA certification
• Proficiency in Danish / Dutch or any other language
