Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled S&OE Planning Lead - Europe to join our Planning and Fulfilment Division. In this role, you will take ownership for Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) availability across multiple European locations, including Copenhagen, Bremen, Carnaxide, Lummen, and Waalre. Reporting within the Global Warehouse and Inventory Management department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring product availability aligns with demand, while effectively managing inventory and fulfilment processes.

This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of coordinating cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain and drive continuous improvement in service levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the S&OE availability planning process across European sites ensuring alignment between sales forecast, production plans, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, production, demand planning, and warehouse teams to facilitate timely decision-making and problem-solving related to inventory availability and order fulfilment.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identify potential risks to product availability, and implement corrective actions proactively.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in availability planning processes, enhancing accuracy, responsiveness, and efficiency across the supply chain.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure transparency and communication of availability status, potential shortages, and alternative solutions.
  • Support the implementation and utilization of advanced planning tools and systems to improve S&OE execution capabilities.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to team members within the availability planning scope, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards in all planning activities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales and operations planning, supply chain planning, or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Strong understanding of S&OE processes and tools, with ability to interpret complex data to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with multi-disciplinary teams across different countries.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and experience managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional European languages is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in ERP and planning software systems; experience with SAP or similar platforms is advantageous.
