International Business Manager

International Business Manager EE/CIS

 

Location: Copenhagen (international travel - once a month)

Company: Scandinavian Tobacco Group Hours: 37 per week

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for an International Business Manager to drive international revenue growth by developing, managing, and optimizing relationships with country-specific distributors. This role ensures effective market penetration, consistent brand representation, and achievement of sales targets across multiple international territories.

 


WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

 

•   Distributor Management – Identify, onboard, and develop high-performing distributors; serve as the primary liaison and conduct performance reviews.

•   Sales Strategy & Execution – Develop territory-specific sales plans, monitor distributor KPIs, and implement corrective actions to meet revenue targets.

•   Market Development – Support market entry strategies, conduct competitive analysis, and facilitate local marketing initiatives.

•   Training & Support – Train distributor sales teams on product, brand messaging, and sales processes; provide ongoing support.

•   Cross-Functional Collaboration – Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, finance, customer service); act as the customer’s voice for product development.

•   Compliance & Governance – Ensure distributor adherence to company policies and legal requirements; negotiate agreements and renewals.



WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL BE REQUIRED?


•   At least 3 years’ experience in international sales and distribution management

•   Cross-cultural communication and negotiation

•   Strategic planning and analytical thinking

•   CRM and sales reporting tools (e.g., BI)

•   Problem-solving and conflict resolution

•   Fluent in English, both verbal and written (Additional language skills are a plus)
