JOB TITLE – Business Insights Manager, Next Generation Products
LOCATION – Copenhagen, Denmark

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are excited to offer an incredible opportunity as Business Insights Manager for Scandinavian Tobacco Group’s growing Next Generation Products team. In this pivotal role, you will be essential in tracking and following up upon our strategic initiatives through commercial insights. To succeed, you must be able to build up a strong understanding of market dynamics and translate findings into commercial actions across functions within our organizational teams. You will be responsible for tracking our global footprint and identifying our synergetic thresholds - internally and externally.
Your role as a self-reliant professional is crucial in our fast-paced environment. A key part of your role will involve ensuring clear communication and alignment within the organization, while fostering robust professional relationships. You will be reporting to the Head of Commercial Insights.
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
. Collecting Data & Tracking of strategic and commercial initiatives:
· Collecting data and insights across functions and teams to conduct analysis and reporting on commercial initiatives within our product life cycle: from P&L, budgets and forecasting to product launches, marketing initiatives and activations, market performances, growth tendencies and portfolio adaptions.
· Develop and implement comprehensive tracking tools for our global performances and organizational teams, ensuring synergetic effects across markets are captured and distributed ongoingly.
· Understand, develop and adapt strong methodological frameworks and reports to capture and consolidate our performances within organizational teams.
· Lead and ensure a data driven approach to commercial initiatives, capturing enhancers of growth and profitability across markets.
Foster insights into strategic performance culture
· Understand stakeholder capabilities, targets and ambitions and convert these into trackable KPIs.
· Identify, evaluate and share insights ongoingly and ensure fostering of insights into tangible and trackable decisions across functions and teams.
· Evaluate adaptability and scalability of local, regional and global know-how and winning formulars to build the NGP teams’ insights toolbox.
· Assess global and local dynamics and convert proven concepts into trackable actions across organizational teams, ensuring synergetic effects.
Follow up and Global Collaboration:
· Follow up on commercial and strategic decisions across teams via KPIs and ensure distribution of commercial insights to stakeholders.
· Work closely with regional and local teams to adapt insights to local market needs and ensure successful growth.
· Drive a cohesive approach to data management and decisions across markets, driving synergies and efficiencies globally.
· Enable repeatability of proven concepts across functions.
· Contribute to and drive data driven performance culture across global teams.
Performance driven approach through data
· Collection, analysis and tracking of data can’t stand alone in this role. You will be the enabler of translating and distributing insights into recommended actions to our global stakeholders across functions.
· Our team will lead the exploration and validation of proven concepts through data and commercial insights.
· We will conceptualize insights into tangible actions and trackable KPIs to ensure repeatability.
· You will work closely with R&D, category, operational, marketing, and sales teams to ensure relevance and implementation of insights to reach the organization’s strategic targets and profitability.
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL BE REQUIRED?
· 3-5 years of experience as business and/or data analysist, ideally within multinational FMCG companies.
· In-depth experience with BI-tools, Powerquery and Excel is required. PowerPoint skills and proven experience in utilizing other data analytics tools is a great plus.
· Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking with a track record of identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities.
· Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to build assumptions based on limited data.
· Desire to shape the role in line with the dynamic environment and evolving needs
· Deep understanding of consumer behaviour, what drives their decisions and how we can adjust our strategies to fit their needs and expectations.
· Excellent project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams & influence senior stakeholders.
· Strong communication and relationship-building abilities across diverse global teams.
· Fluency in English and ability to travel 5-10% of time.
