Role summary: 

As an SAP EWM Functional Lead at Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG), you will be responsible for the configuration and implementation of the SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Production Planning (PP) modules. This includes analyzing requirements, setting up master data, organizational structures, and processes for procurement, manufacturing, planning, and logistics. Furthermore, you’d have the task to customize SCM/PP integrations with other SAP modules, develop custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements, as well as perform testing, troubleshooting, and support. 

  • Location: Lisbon or Madrid 

  • Working hours: Full-time 

  • Contract type: Direct employment 

 

What can you expect as an SAP EWM Functional Lead at Scandinavian Tobacco Group? Your primary tasks will be: 

 

  • Ensure alignment between business requirements and best practice / standard solution 

  • Lead a team of SAP experts

  • Optimize and standardize already existing processes to adhere to architectural guidelines 

  • Configure SAP EWM module to meet specific business requirements. 

  • Customize workflows, reports, and interfaces to enhance system functionality and user experience. 

  • Integrate EWM with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SAP SD) and third-party systems. 

  • Streamline the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing materials to fulfilling customer demand. 

  • Oversee inventory management, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. 

  • Implement best practices for warehouse layout, stock placement, and material handling. 

 

Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role): 

  • Educational Background - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. 

  • Professional Experience - Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP EWM, including configuration and implementation. 

  • Fluency in English is required. 

  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end Procure-to-Demand processes. 

  • Technical Skills - Proficiency in SAP EWM, including integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, TM). 

  • Strong understanding of system configuration and customization. 

  • Process Improvement and Project Management - Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). Strong project management skills, including planning and execution. 

  • Soft Skills - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to train and support end-users.
