JOB TITLE – Business Process Analyst
LOCATION – Lisbon, hybrid
About the Role
Are you passionate about optimizing workflows, driving operational efficiency, and turning data into actionable insights? Join a dynamic Projects & Innovation team in our Solution Delivery Organisation in Lisbon as a Business Process Analyst and help us streamline and strengthen our Finance department, starting by Accounts Payable operations.
As a Business Process Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing, designing, and improving processes across our Finance department. You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, recommend solutions, and support the implementation of process enhancements that align with strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing Finance department processes (accounts payable, accounts receivable, record-to-report) and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and map workflows
- Identify process inefficiencies and bottlenecks, evaluate their impact, and collaborate with the leadership team to prioritize improvement initiatives
- Recommend solutions, design and implement process improvements using data-driven methodologies
- Develop documentation, process maps, and training materials
- Coordinate implementation of Standard Operating Procedures in all the teams and monitor adherence of operational tasks to these procedures
- Lead Process Improvement forums across our Finance streams (Source-to-Pay, Quote-to-Cash, Record-to-Report), ensuring clear progress tracking, priority alignment, and timely follow-up on action plans
- Monitor performance metrics and report on process effectiveness
- Support change management initiatives and ensure stakeholder alignment
What You Will Bring:
- Preferred Educational Requirements - master’s degree in business, engineering or similar.
- 3–5 years of experience in business process analysis, continuous improvement or related roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, autonomous and solution-oriented attitude
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable operations is a strong advantage
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus
- Full professional proficiency of written and oral English required; Portuguese is an advantag
