Operations Team Lead

As an Operations Team Lead, you will have the opportunity to develop and support a team of Warehouse Associates. Your focus will be on motivating, mentoring, and coaching your team. You will lead your team during shifts to maintain high levels of employee engagement, safety, quality, and productivity. You will be assigned to one of four areas: Inbound, Production, Inventory, or Fulfillment & Shipping. Success in this role involves driving productivity through employee development, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Warehouse Associates.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and OSHA standards, contributing to a culture of safety.
• Engage with employees and act as their first point of contact for assistance.
• Develop and coach employees to build a strong talent pool.
• Supervise processes and manage labor to achieve daily safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Collaborate with other Leads to balance labor during periods of variable throughput/volume.
• Analyze performance and develop action plans to address concerns and align with goals.
• Support internal customers by communicating effectively and addressing their concerns promptly.
• Foster an inclusive team environment focused on respect and customer satisfaction.
• Create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed, implementing progressive coaching when needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing center, or fulfillment center setting.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime when needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in achieving and improving performance metrics.
• Experience in inventory control.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, automated pallet jacks).
• Knowledge of process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
