Summary:

We are currently seeking a motivated individual who enjoys working in a dynamic work environment to join our team as a Merchandising Generalist for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). We are excited to be enabling change and innovation with our website platform migration to SFCC. The core of this role will be to serve as administrative support during our business units migration to the Salesforce platform, which includes updating websites to ensure a smooth e-commerce experience for our customers. Upon building working knowledge of the platform, you will lead training and facilitate change within the Merchandising Department. You will succeed in this role if you have strong technical aptitude, organizational skills, attention to detail, background in website management, and strong communication skills.

 

What can you expect in as a Merchandising Generalist with Cigars International?

  • Successfully support transition of websites to Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
  • Work with our implementation partner to communicate and document our product and merchandising needs to match our current site requirements and meet consumer needs
  • Service all BUs as an expert on the SFCC platform
  • Act as a resource to the Merchandising department for any SFCC questions and trainings
  • Participate in all User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions and assist with bug remediation as needed
  • Act as an advocate for the SFCC platform and help facilitate organizational change
  • Participate in decisions to optimize our existing websites and look for areas of improvement
  • Complete any documentation, data hygiene, requirement gather, and related tasks needed to facilitate the migration to SFCC while ensuring each site migration is smoother than the last
  • Balance short term, deadline-driven tasks against larger-scale projects
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with the other departments and key people related to the SFCC project
  • Assume additional responsibilities as required
