As our new Student Assistant, you will be part of the Sustainability Centre of Excellence and play an important role in supporting the delivery of Rolling Responsibly, our sustainability agenda and a key enabler of our corporate strategy, Focus2030. You will contribute to a wide range of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives while helping strengthen our sustainability data, reporting and insights. You will refer to the Global Head of Sustainability. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with sustainability strategy, reporting requirements, climate data, supplier engagement and AI-enabled analytics in an international company.

What your day will look like

In this role, you will typically focus on:

  • Collecting, validating and analysing sustainability data from suppliers, including Scope 3 emissions, packaging compliance, no-deforestation, Supplier Code of Conduct and due diligence data.
  • Generating insights from supplier data, including information collected through our participation in the Sustainable Tobacco Program.
  • Calculating and analysing the CO₂ footprint of packaging solutions using internal tools and supplier data.
  • Monitoring data quality, identifying gaps, and following up directly with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Conducting sustainability research and preparing presentations, reports and briefing materials for senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Supporting sustainability reporting and regulatory initiatives, including CSRD, PPWR and other ESG requirements.
  • Maintaining sustainability documentation, evidence and reporting records.
  • Assisting in the development of AI-enabled and automated data collection, reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Supporting communication activities, presentation development and sustainability-related content creation.

What you'll bring

  • Currently enrolled in the first year of a Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Data Analytics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities. Experience with Power BI a plus. Knowledge of Python, ThinkCell and Efficient Elements is an advantage.
  • Interest in sustainability reporting, climate data, supply chains, responsible sourcing and ESG regulation.
  • Detail-oriented with an understanding of how sustainability information contributes to the Annual Report under CSRD.
  • Project management skills are an advantage.
  • Comfortable working independently after receiving guidance and eager to learn new technologies.
  • Structured and able to manage multiple priorities and ad hoc requests.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

For this role, we offer 160 DKK/hour corresponding to the level of the position, expected experience and responsibilities.
