ABOUT THE ROLE
We are excited to offer an incredible opportunity for a Business Analyst to join Scandinavian Tobacco Group’s Scandinavian cluster sales operation team. In this crucial role, you will be essential in leveraging data to drive business success, maximizing the value of our data, and ensuring accurate sales analysis, insights, and forecasting. Moreover, you will serve as a supportive anchor to empower our sales and marketing teams so they can accelerate our key growth enablers.
Your role as a dynamic, detail-oriented, and self-reliant professional is crucial in maximizing value across the Scandinavian sales cluster. A key part of your role will involve using data-driven insights to challenge the status quo, facilitating data usage across the entire organization, and managing expectations through strong cross-functional execution. You will report directly to the Sales Operations Lead.
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
Data Value & Sales Data Management:
- Enhance and maximize the value of data across the Scandinavian cluster organization. Automate and optimize sales data management and maintenance in close collaboration with key stakeholders. Lead data validation processes across systems and platforms.
Category & Business Analysis:
- Conduct category analysis and provide actionable recommendations for internal and external stakeholders. Monitor market price developments to proactively identify risks and business opportunities. Assist in building robust business cases supported by data-driven insights.
Forecasting & Performance Tracking:
- Oversee volume and event forecasting, as well as discount forecasting for campaigns. Track campaign performance and key performance indicators (KPIs), delivering actionable recommendations to improve outcomes. Prepare and present weekly and monthly internal reports to guide strategic decision-making.
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL BE REQUIRED?
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in a sales operations, data, or insights role, ideally within the FMCG industry.
- Proven experience in data management, event forecasting, data validation, and handling market data sources (e.g., AC Nielsen).
- Strong technical proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with CRM/ERP tools (Salesforce, SAP) and data visualization tools (Power BI) is a major plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and a track record of driving change through data.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of Danish or Swedish is a strong advantage.

For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 480 000 DKK to 720 000 DKK corresponding to the level of the position, expected experience and responsibilities.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
