As a part of the newly established Transformation Management Office, and in the newly established position as Project Manager, you will get a key role in building a professional portfolio management Scandinavian Tobacco Group, where you need to help the ongoing prioritization and planning of the project portfolio within our group-wide transformational program, Fuelling the Growth. The program consists of five initiatives. 1) organisational restructuring to ensure an agile organisation, 2) realignment of commercial resources in four new divisions, 3) optimisation of the global logistics set-up, 4) establishment of a global procurement organisation and 5) improved operational cost efficiency through reduction of production complexity, all contributing to increasing shareholder value by raising earnings capabilities, driving efficiencies and stimulating market share growth.

 

The job
You will be part of the Group transformation program supporting strategic business improvement initiatives, including the tracking and reporting of the results to business managers and top management. This position can be a great first (or second) step in your career towards e.g. a strategic position or a financial management position in a truly international organization. You will contribute with professional sparring on financial subjects towards the project managers, business and leadership team.


Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Assist in the strategic prioritization and planning of projects for the portfolio, including data quality and analysis
  • Financial analysis and reporting, keeping track of the overall portfolio economy, including regular follow-up meetings
  • Project management, ensuring alignment and interaction between the portfolio and the individual projects
  • Establish, track and follow up on relevant KPIs for the business
  • Support our business areas with in preparing business cases, project execution, reporting set-ups, approval processes and more
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and support them in defining and delivering their project portfolio to reach their strategic objectives, highlighting key issues and potentials for improving strategy execution
  • Reporting to management and steering committees
  • Internal communication


You will be working out of our head office in Søborg, Denmark, reporting to the Head of Transformation Management, and should anticipate approx. 15-30 travels days per year.


What is needed to succeed?
In addition to having a solid and relevant financial theoretical background, at master’s level, you should have 3-5 years of experience from working in an international environment. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of practical experience within Transformation- or Project Management Offices, founded in a strong business understanding. You find an inner ignition in strategic matters but also take great pride in being the executing project manager of strategic initiatives, spanning across our Group, and daily administrative tasks. You work in a systematic, structured and analytical way and is motivated by navigating between many internal stakeholders in an international organization.


About the department
You will join the newly established Transformation Management Office department in the Group’s head office. We are busy and have exciting and important tasks ahead of us and are therefore expanding the department with this position. The department is involved in the world-wide business of Scandinavian Tobacco Group which includes subsidiaries in approx. 20 countries and export sales to more than 100 countries.
