Head of Transformation Management Office

As a part of the newly established Strategy and Transformation function, you will play a key role in driving Fuelling the Growth, a global transformation program. The program contains a number of projects, including growth strategies for key business units, simplification of products portfolio, optimisation of the global logistics set-up, establishment of a global procurement organisation, establishing new ways of working and a more agile organisation. All these elements contribute to increasing shareholder value by raising earnings capabilities, driving efficiencies and stimulating market share growth, and are on top of the agenda for CEO and Executive Board.

 

The job
As a Head of Transformation Office, you will be the main driver behind Fuelling the Growth program, and you will collaborate with multiple senior stakeholders across geographies and functions, including project leads and initiative owners, to deliver transformation objectives. This position has high visibility and exposure to the Executive Board, and can be a great step in transitioning to a leadership role.


Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Drive program management of Fuelling the Growth, incl. overview of total progress and reporting to the Executive Board
  • Understand financial status of the program, and keep workstreams accountable to deliver on the targets
  • Identify critical roadblocks in the different workstreams, incl. resources, raise and resolve issues and risks
  • Communicate about the transformation vertically and horizontally in the organization
  • Reinforce the change management goals and encourage new ways of working
  • Regularly review STG projects portfolio across strategic and transformational projects, and support prioritization with Executive Board
  • Drive change management and communication – together with HR, Communications and leaders


You will be working out of our head office in Søborg, Denmark, reporting to the Head of Strategy and Transformation, and should anticipate approx. 15-30 travels days per year.


What is needed to succeed?
In addition to having a solid and relevant economic/financial theoretical background and strong business background, you should have 5-7 years of experience from working in an international environment as a Program Manager role, or Project Manager for large projects. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of practical experience within Transformation- or Project Management Offices, founded in a strong business understanding. You find an inner ignition in strategic matters but also take great pride in getting into the details of transformational initiatives. You work in a systematic, structured and analytical way and you are motivated by navigating between many internal stakeholders in an international organization.


About the department
You will join the newly established Strategy and Transformation department in the Group’s head office. We are building a cross-functional team that will focus on driving consumer insights, contribute to corporate and BU strategy development and run the transformation Program. We are busy and have exciting and important tasks ahead of us and are therefore expanding the department with this position. The department is involved in the world-wide business of Scandinavian Tobacco Group which includes subsidiaries in approx. 20 countries and export sales to more than 100 countries.
