Who We Are

STG’s North America Branded (NAB) division is comprised of the STG US companies engaged in the marketing, distribution and sales of all product categories to wholesalers and distributors that supply retail in the US (B2B).  NAB businesses include General Cigar Co., Inc., Forged Cigar Company, and Scandinavian Tobacco Group Lane, Ltd.


STG is currently searching for a mid-level IT professional to join our internal IT team.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain internal and external facing applications (C#, MVC 5) and supporting systems including web APIs and services.
  • Develop and maintain CRM applications (
  • Develop and maintain using integration platform (Boomi, SAP Cloud integration).
  • Enhance internal toolset (C#, MVC5) to improve efficiency for business users.
  • Write performant SQL and propose database designs as required.
  • Work alongside business users to gather requirements and specifications.
  • Follow best practices to build maintainable, scalable web applications.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects to achieve business needs on time.
  • Continually develop skills to stay current with best practices and technologies.


Required Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or relevant experience in software development.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development with the Microsoft stack, SQL server skills to design & develop stored procedures, exposure to any middle ware integration platform.
  • Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented software design
  • Experience in SAP CPI or willingness to learn is a plus.
  • Experience in Salesforce or willingness to learn is a plus.
  • .Net, C#, JavaScript/jQuery, CSS, HTML5, XML, Xamarin, SQL Server, SSIS, PHP
  • A passion for technology and programming, self-learner and willingness to learn new technology and platform is must.
  • Ability to creatively solve problems and find solutions to challenges.
  • Role does require business user interaction. Ideal candidate will be self-motivated requiring little to no supervision and excellent communication skills.


Preferred Skills:


  • Web performance testing and optimization
  • Build/deployment automation
  • IIS configuration
  • Mobile app development using Xamarin is a plus but not needed.
