The Logistics & Customs department is one of the pillars of our Integrated Supply Planning and is part of our Business Unit Operations. As Logistics Customs & Excise officer you are responsible for preparing customs forms and shipping our shipments. You are the point of contact for customs and together with your colleagues you are constantly looking for how we can optimize our processes so that we can work in the most efficient way.


Your main tasks are:
-    Planning and preparation of our shipments to our customers all over the world (via shipping, air transport, freight transport, etc.) and internal transports between different branches of STG;
-    Administrative preparation and follow-up of all customs forms;
-    Administrative processing of documents in the ERP-system;
-    Preparation of customs declarations in the customs software system
-    Support with projects;
-    Follow up of internal KPI's/ OTIF/ planning.


What do you need to be successful in this job? 
You are familiar with working in an international context with a team based in different locations. You are enthusiastic, punctual and assertive. You have the necessary passion for customs regulations and you get energy from achieving results. The knowledge of our business you obtain through the necessary training and your strong communication skills ensure that you can communicate well with different internal and external stakeholders.


We are looking for candidates with:
-    Bachelor's degree in Transport and Logistics/Customs regulation;
-    Knowledge of Customs & Excise and/or Customs Declaration certificate;
-    Good knowledge of Dutch and English (written and spoken);
-    Strong administrative skills (formatting documents, follow-up, etc.);
-    Pro-active mindset;
-    Punctual and accurate;
-    Stress resistant;
-    Team player.
