Your role as Demand Planner

Demand Planning is a masterpiece of STG’s Integrated end-to-end Supply Chain. In STG’s consumer centric approach, high value lies in Customer experience. Within S&OP (Sales & Operation Planning) Demand Planning contributes to meeting customer satisfaction and financial targets.

 

Main assignments and responsibilities are:

 

• Set up demand planning strategy ensuring the use of adequate planning methods and an optimal alignment with business functions.
• Coordinate the forecast process in close collaboration with commercial organization to identify best-fitting solutions to provide a most accurate demand plan.
• Generate and review monthly forecasts and measure, track and improve forecast accuracy.
• Manage Phase-In / Phase-Out and prevent obsolescence of FG.
• Contribute to S&OP process with demand planning results and effective alignment with business functions.
• Develop and document standard planning processes with a focus on implementing global common processes and practices.
• Drive the metrics: service levels (respect of SLAs, FG availability), forecast accuracy, finished goods obsolescence


What’s needed for you to succeed?


You are accustomed to working in an international company collaborating with colleagues from different locations. You possess good business acumen and demonstrate excellent communication skills as you need to interact on different levels. You are analytical and result driven. You are stress resistant, you demonstrate sense of priority and you are able to plan and organize to achieve deadlines in the right way. You drive change.


Other requirements:

• Education on University degree; Supply Chain degree is desirable
• Strong analytical skills
• Management skills
• Strong business acumen 
• Good knowledge of planning and BI tools 
• Excellent communication skills in English and as a plus: Dutch
