Associate Business Manager - Asia

JOB TITLE - Associate Business Manager (Asia) 

 

LOCATION - Hong Kong 

 

HOURS – Full time 

 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Business Manager to join our team in Asia. As an Associate Business Manager, you will be part of the International Sales team, working closely with international export markets to accelerate the development of Asian markets and fuel the growth of hand-made cigars, machine-rolled cigars, and other tobacco categories. 

 

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR? 

  • Supporting the Senior Business Development Manager in developing Asian markets, covering both duty-paid and duty-free sectors 

  • Developing and sustaining long-lasting relationships with customers 

  • Managing and growing independent markets under the guidance of the Senior Business Development Manager 

  • Obtaining and tracking monthly sales performance and stock positions in key markets 

  • Supporting the rollout and execution of approved marketing initiatives 

  • Conducting monthly forecasting and supporting yearly business plan development 

  • Working with customer services to facilitate order processing, shipment, and stock management 

  • Supporting the optimization of airport execution and coordinating yearly China Duty Free exhibition 

  • Assisting in the development of new business categories 

 

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL BE REQUIRED? 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Commerce, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus) 

  • 3+ years of experience in business management and operations 

  • Proven international experience in managing multiple markets/accounts (duty-paid and/or duty-free) 

  • Knowledge of tobacco and liquors preferred 

  • Strong communication and coordination skills 

  • Team player mentality 

  • Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin 

  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure 

  • Willingness to travel in Asia (30% of the time) 

  • Strong data analytical skills
