HR in Scandinavian Tobacco Group is currently undergoing a transformation, focusing on the implementation of a new Service Delivery Model and technological enablement with standardized, global and scalable HR processes. This transformation is executed globally, and successful implementation is done through strategic partnerships with the business and we are looking for a colleague to embark on this journey with us.


The role


The role is dual-faceted with two primary areas of responsibility being the geographical HR responsible for our German organization as well as a functional responsibility of driving the commercial HR agenda. This entails that in addition to being HR responsible for the 75 people in the German organization you will be managing additional 1-2 offices outside Germany providing strong support on the yearly HR processes such as performance management, talent management & yearly salary adjustment. Your primary areas of responsibility will be:


-    Handling of all HR relevant, operational topics for the German organization
-    End to end responsible for recruitment processes across multiple entities
-    Implementation of SuccessFactors across markets of responsibility
-    Leadership sparring and coaching 
-    Implementor and executor on key HR processes
-    HR compliance responsible for Germany and coordination of HR compliance abroad
-    Working with the leaders to develop the business
-    Preparing and anchoring the local works council talks in cooperation with the German Country Director

 

The role will be working out of our office in Bremen with a reporting line to the Strategic HR Business Partner in Denmark. Some travel to be expected but this should not be exceeding 20 days yearly.


The profile


As a person you are used to navigate on different levels of an organization and are perceived as an approachable and trustworthy person. You manage to keep your head cool during pressure and execute your work in systematic and structured approach. You possess a can-do attitude that drives you to deliver high quality work combining business needs with your HR toolbox to get the optimal outcome. Of background the preferred candidate would have:


-    A relevant university degree
-    Well-grounded knowledge of German employment law and HR relevant topics
-    At least 4 years of experience working within HR
-    Preferably experience from an international organization 
-    Your recent experience is from a role such as HR Consultant, HR Manager or HR Business Partner 
-    A strong track record of building relationships with your business stakeholders.


About the HR organization


You will join the commercial HR team being a part of Group HR in Scandinavian Tobacco Group. The Group HR function is involved in the world-wide business of Scandinavian Tobacco Group which includes subsidiaries in approx. 20 countries and export sales to more than 100 countries. 


In addition to your role, the department’s team includes 58 dedicated employees located across our Group, from Indonesia, across Europe to the Americas. We are busy and continue to have exciting and important tasks ahead of us.
