AX Developer

While this is a remote position, please note that it is a US-BASED role. 


Position Summary:

We are currently searching for a skilled AX developer to join our software development team that supports internal applications and our Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 installation. We are a leading internet retailer that is involved with the latest technologies and enterprise systems. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to support a variety of internal systems and websites, and to provide mentorship to other team members. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support and improve an AX 2012 R3 ERP, using SQL, X++, and C#.NET.
  • Create and maintain WCF services and other supporting applications, written in C#.NET.
  • Write performant SQL stored procedures and propose database designs as required
  • Follow best practices to build maintainable, scalable applications and services
  • Coordinate with business users to gather requirements
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects to achieve business needs on time
  • Continually develop skills to stay current with best practices and technologies
  • Actively participate in ongoing design and architecture discussions
  • Provide mentoring and architecture/development advice to other members of the team



  • Microsoft-stack development: .NET, C#, MSSQL, IIS, WCF
  • 3+ years of development experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX using X++ and MorphX IDE
  • T-SQL or comparable relational database development skills

  • A passion for technology and programming
  • Self-learner and willing to learn new skills and tools on the job as needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills—able to succinctly convey technical and logical questions and answers
